Based on the beloved 1997 Fox animated film, the new musical by Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Terrence McNally is a glittering coming-of-age story set against the Russian revolution. On the run from Soviet police, a young amnesiac woman who may or may not be the princess Anastasia teams up with a pair of con men on a quest to find her true family and unravel the secrets of her past. Directed by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak, the show featured the Academy Award nominated songs “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon A December,” and has garnered additional productions in numerous languages around the world.
